got a couple subs, so so good wow. got a chicken caesar sub and tuna sub, loved every bite. the inside is very small but cute and the works were very quick to make sure everyone’s order was taken. was pretty busy in there but it didn’t take long for the subs to come out. really loved the place, will be back

First off - The best chicken cutlets! We shared the chicken caesar + vodka chicken parm. D’Amato’s is hands down one of my favorite places in Chicago. The most delicious Italian sub sandwiches and cookies. Warm and welcoming service - ALWAYS!

D’amato’s is a place if you know you know if you don't now you know. It's a local spot to the West town near the River West area. We've drove past a handful of times because my girlfriend lives in the area and we finally got the chance to stop in on a Saturday afternoon. The place was packed. The service was friendly. It was worth the wait and my girlfriend got an Italian sandwich and I got a slice of cheese. The fact that they've been there for a long time is awesome. Definitely be prepared to wait a little bit because of how busy they are but again it's worth the wait because their food is delicious. And I think for the sandwich and a slice of cheese we spent less than 15 bucks. The one thing though is that if you're not in the area, and you're driving sometimes it may be a little bit hard to find parking, but there's parking up and down grand so hopefully it shouldn’t be that hard. Overall, I am happy about this place, we will be back and we totally understand the hype. They also have tons of baked cookies by the pound and they have fresh hot coffee. It’s just really a good atmosphere overall.

Everything looked amazing! I tried their Chicken Caesar cutlet sub and I definitely recommend it. It was so delicious and flavorful. The girl who took my order was so polite and she made the best cappuccino! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

D’Amatos has authentic Italian baked goods, pizza and sandwiches to enjoy on the outdoor patio to go! A cute place that’s been there forever. The service is fast and friendly with each item made to order. If you’re in a rush call ahead and you won’t have to wait in a sea of people during lunch hour. I highly recommend D’Amatos on Grand Ave in Chicago.

Nice little hole in the wall Chicago Italian style bakery/deli. Order in advance wait times are crazy for walk-ins! I had the chicken parm vodka sandwich I’d give it about 7.5/10. Nothing spectacular. No seating for you out of towners. I did not try their pastries wish I would have.

We tried the vodka chicken parm sandwich, it was good. Now, can’t wait to try the chicken Cesar sandwich. The lemon cookies and cannolis are sooo good.
